traveling Beijing, Shangai, Xian, Guilin, Hong Kong

After a first trip in China for 4 years (classic travel: Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Guilin, Hong Kong), we wanted to explore the China "deep" ... Thanks to the local agency Evaneos, the visit of China exceeded our expectations. A region still preserved for tourists (including Chinese tourists), fabulous landscapes (Stone Forest, terraced rice fields), colorful markets incredible and beautiful dresses, kindness of the peasants in the villages. Some jams because of the roads and highways under construction (aie aie, aie) which has allowed us to take advantage of walking through people instead of wasting our time. We tasted over 80 different foods in a fortnight, great food and amazing prices varied (on average 2 to 3 euros per person per meal, including beer!) As for the charming hotels, charming hotels really are: perfectly restored old homes, especially where an American Xizhou specialized in Chinese antiques married a girl from the region (found in the U.S.) and both have made this hotel great. An incredible trekking in the gorges of Tigre with breathtaking views over the Yangtze River that roars at the bottom of the gorges, has left us great memories! To conclude this journey, the trek is in our top 3 of the many trips we've made over the five continents, was performed with an excellent discreet and effective assistance. Thanks to Li, who was our first great guide and driver really well.
